This award is a generic award for all Emergency Response Drivers. It consists of two days advanced driving using the Roadcraft manual as guidance. The training culminates in a RoSPA Advanced Driving Test and this forms the minimal requirement for the Response Driving phase.

Delegates will also have to complete a Home Study pack, researching legislation and gathering information for inclusion in a portfolio that will form part of the award. It is advantageous for delegates to attend a Behavioural driving seminar that is delivered at customer’s premises as this will be used as evidence for the portfolio.
The Response Driving phase is over two days and on successful completion delegates will be awarded the EDI Level 3 Award in Emergency Response Driving.
